Estimada familia de la IPPF:
Luego de la extraordinaria e histórica semana para la IPPF que tuvo lugar en Delhi, me complace comunicarme con ustedes como el Presidente del Comité de Transición, el cual fue establecido por el Consejo de Gobierno en su reunión del 1 al 3 de diciembre de 2019 para liderar el proceso de implementación de las reformas recomendadas por la Asamblea General y aprobadas unánimemente por el Consejo de Gobierno. Ustedes articularon una clara visión para la gobernanza y el sistema de asignación de recursos futuros de la IPPF, y sentimos un sentido de urgencia que ustedes infundieron para impulsar este cambio.
El Comité de Transición está compuesto por siete miembros, dos de los cuales son jóvenes y uno de ellos es una persona externa a la IPPF. Estos son los siguientes:

- Sra. Waimarama Matena, miembro joven del Consejo de Gobierno
- Sra. Tracy Robinson, miembro del Consejo de Gobierno y asesora externa

- Sra. Esther Vicente, Presidente del Comité de Finanzas y Auditoría de la IPPF
- Sra. Dyuti Krishnan, voluntaria joven de la Asociación de Planificación Familiar de la India

Simultáneamente, sentaremos las bases para desarrollar una nueva fórmula y un nuevo sistema de asignación de recursos que tenga en cuenta los problemas que identificó como claves para un nuevo modelo.
